REEPRODUCE Showcases Results at the Raw Materials Week 2025!

The REEPRODUCE project has been invited by the European Commission to present its results during the Raw Materials Week 2025, taking place in Brussels from November 18–20, 2025. The project will be featured in the session “Research & Innovation: Horizon Programme Success Stories”, scheduled for Thursday, November 20 (11:15–12:30, Versailles Room).
The Raw Materials Week, organised by the European Commission, will include high-level sessions, policy discussions, and networking opportunities focused on the sustainable and secure supply of raw materials in Europe. The Raw Materials Week is an annual event that brings together stakeholders from European institutions, industry, governments, academia, and civil society to discuss the latest developments in raw materials policy and innovation in the EU. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the strategic importance of raw materials, share knowledge, and network with key actors in the field. This edition focuses on the progress in implementing the Critical Raw Materials Act, advancing strategic projects, streamlining permitting, and mobilising sustainable investment. Core discussions will centre on building robust and diversified strategic supply chains, boosting domestic production, promoting circularity, and strengthening international partnerships to enhance competitiveness and build a resilient industrial future in Europe.
During the session, Ana Maria Martinez (SINTEF), Coordinator of REEPRODUCE, will present the project’s innovative achievements in recycling and recovering rare earth elements from end-of-life products. These efforts are helping build a more resilient, circular, and sustainable European value chain for permanent magnets, key components for clean energy technologies.
The participation of REEPRODUCE at this event underscores the project’s role as a leading example of how EU-funded research drives industrial innovation and environmental responsibility.
Stay tuned for insights from the session and more updates on REEPRODUCE’s contribution to Europe’s circular raw materials future!
